Sayda
from Rochester, MI
Sayda is truly a part of the ALS family. When we first met her, she was a challenging dog in every sense of the word. She was fearful of strangers, extremely predatory with all animals, and impossible to control outside of the home, and in the home with visitors. She had failed multiple approaches to training, including a boarding “boot camp,” none of which gave her owner any hope. Today, she is a welcome companion to her owner and a daily visitor to our facility for day care services.

Without Animal Learning Systems school, boarding and daycare, I would not have this awesome day-to-day carefree, happy relationship with my rescue dog. Jim’s initial evaluation made so much sense and we followed his behavioral recommendations, also enrolling Sayda in the much needed Off Leash Training Program and years later, we continue to use the day-care and boarding facility. The off-leash program wiped out my anxieties when walking my rescue. If I command her to sit, she sits! If I need her to come to me, she is next to my side. It was a true miracle (or Animal Learning Systems training). Also, it is a huge relief to know my dog is exercised, secure and cared for by a great staff of people when I am out of town or when I have a long day at the office. I can see when Sayda interacts with the staff, they love her just as much as I do. We are so grateful for them rescuing us from our behavior problems!”
