Ozzy, Lily, and Oliver

We came to Animal Learning Systems, 5 years ago, when we were desperate for help with one of our dogs.  

Our sweet young dog had become fearful and aggressive with strangers.  With our family and known friends and neighbors he was a wonderful, loving, cuddly dog. Unfortunately, when approached by a stranger he became loud and aggressive and appeared ready to attack.  It was a Jekyll and Hyde situation. We were at a loss and did not know what to do, because we could not manage his behavior. ALS was recommended to us by our veterinarian and we scheduled a meeting with Jim Lessenberry.   

After briefly assessing our dog, Jim was immediately able to identify his issue(s) and a plan to address them. Although it was difficult to do, we decided to send Ozzy to ALS for 8 weeks of onsite training. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.  He is of course a much more obedient dog overall than he was pre-training. What is much more important to us, however, is that Ozzy is now able to be comfortable and confident around strangers and we got back our sweet wonderful dog on a full-time basis. We highly recommend Animal Learning Systems as it has made a world of difference for our family.

Since Ozzy’s behavior work, we’ve attended ALS classes with our newest dog Oliver, and all three happily board with Animal Learning Systems when we travel.
